The Henry Royce Institute is once again supporting fully funded places in two dynamic entrepreneurship programmes: Wilbe Become a Science Founder and Cambridge Judge Business School EnterpriseTECH.
The programmes are aimed at scientists looking to dive into entrepreneurship or researchers eager to explore the commercial potential of early-stage technologies.
Royce recognises that into today’s research world, commercial skills allow researchers to broaden the impact of their research, collaborate effectively with external partners, and ensure the long-term future of their projects. Such skills help researchers to move more seamlessly between the academic and commercial world, opening up new opportunities and making their work more impactful.
In particular, understanding aspects such as market demand, intellectual property, and startup requirements can help them transform ideas into viable products, services and companies.
