Detailed Description
Water permeability through plastic films, with a maximum thickness of 2.5mm.
Uses/Applications
Test the moisture permeability of thin plastic films. This can be used to assess the barrier properties of a polymer system which are especially important in packaging, laminate coating and food packaging applications.
Test Range for H2O: 0.002-100 g·m-2·24h-1 (unmasked), 0.04-2000 g·m-2·24h-1 (masked). Sample Size: 50 cm2, ~2.5 mm thickness max. Temperature range: 10-50 °C ± 0.1 °C.
