Planar Biaxial

Conventional mechanical testing systems are uniaxial. The Planar Biaxial system is able to apply compression and tension in both x and y axes. The system permits more physiological assessment of material that move in two axes at once, e.g. expansion of cardiac or lung tissue. A biochamber is also supplied to provide a sterile environment for bi-directional stimulation of cells.
