The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) has called for nominations for its 2025 IOM3 Awards & Prizes including the two key awards in collaboration with Royce that recognise and celebrate the achievements and contributions of technical professionals:
Innovation by a Technical Professional Award
The Henry Royce Institute Award for Innovation by a Technical Professional highlights the crucial input that technical professionals make in advancing our technology and understanding of the materials world.
Outstanding Contribution by a Technical Professional Award
The Henry Royce Institute Award for Outstanding Contribution by a Technical Professional acknowledges the contributions of an exceptional and established technical professional over a sustained period of time.
Participating in the awards celebrates achievement and contribution to the profession and published work. The Awards & Prizes are presented at the annual IOM3 Awards Day, and some of the award winners deliver lectures, to which all members are invited. Winners are announced in June.
IOM3 Awards & Prizes are free to enter, and some include a medal and cash prizes for student and early career winners or published work. It’s a fantastic way to contribute to the industry and be recognised by the community.
