Detailed Description
Uses a plasma to sputter a target material that is then deposited onto a sample to form a coating. Coating materials include gold, platinum, palladium, nickel, carbon. Layers on the order of single to tens of nanometres can be created.
Uses/Applications
Easy to use sputter coater primarily for use in the SEM and FIB systems.
Quorum Q150 GB. Target materials include; C, Ni, Au, Pt, Pd. Coatings can range from 1nm to 10s of nms.
