First held in 1959 the “Corrosion Science Symposium” (Institute of Corrosion, ICorr) is a friendly forum for up-to-date research and practise in corrosion and is especially welcoming to early career researchers. It will incorporate the postponed “Advances in Corrosion Protection by Organic Coatings” (an event of the European Federation of Corrosion). The conference will be opened by ICorr President, Bill Hedges with the U.R. Evans’ Award, the premier ICorr award, presented to Professor Mary Ryan of Imperial College.
The joint conference will be in-person for speakers and delegates in Manchester between Monday 6 September and Thursday 9 September and live-streamed / recorded for those who can’t be present.
